FDANZ an association of funeral directing firms who carry out most of our funerals in New Zealand. FDANZ members are committed to high standards of service and professional practice. New Zealand Master Monumental Masons Association (NZMMMA)
NZMMMA is a professional organisation representing the memorial stonemasonry industry in New Zealand. Established in 1945, NZMMMA works to ensure that the public’s right to commemorate loved ones with memorial headstones is protected. Members of the NZMMMA are skilled in the design, creation, and maintenance of headstones, offering services that include custom memorials, restorations, and pre-planning. NZMMMA upholds high standards of professionalism, ensuring that members are well-trained and adhere to a strict code of ethics that prioritises integrity, sensitivity, and respect for the bereaved.

Veterans’ Affairs New Zealand
Veterans’ Affairs New Zealand provides care and oversight for Services Cemeteries across Aotearoa. These spaces honour those who have served, offering dedicated areas within cemeteries for individuals with certain military service, as well as their spouses or partners.
To be eligible for burial in a Services Cemetery, you must have served as a member of His Majesty’s Forces on specific deployments or be the spouse or partner of someone who has.
Veterans’ Affairs may assist with plaque and headstone funding to honour individuals with qualifying service and their spouses or partners.
